Welcome to Cougar Cross Country!

The Cougars compete in one of the most competitive leagues, not only in California, but in the United States: the South Coast League. The other schools in the South Coast League are Dana Hills High School, Aliso Niguel High School, Tesoro High School, San Clemente High School, and Mission Viejo High School.

Capo Valley has distinguished itself over the years as a tough competitor, sending individuals and teams to CIF Prelims or Finals thirteen out of the last fifteen years. In addition, Capo Valley Athletics was honored by the CIF as the 2006 Orange County Champion for Character school. Congratulations to all of the runners who have contributed to this fine tradition!

We were terribly grieved to hear of the death of Megan Meyers following our meet on September 26. Our condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends, coaches and teammates. We will always remember her courage during her final race, and will find inspiration through it. We will be thinking of all of you as you go through this difficult time.
